We’ll Bring the Past to Your Present
This interactive exhibit can travel to your school or group! Prepare your students for their visit to the Pound House with a history-filled trunk of touch-and-see artifacts. Sarah's Trunk traces Joseph & Sarah Pound's journey to Texas and their subsequent family life in Dripping Springs in the mid-1800s & early 1900's. Sarah’s Trunk is specially designed to connect students with early pioneer living in Dripping Springs using real artifacts. This in-class demonstration answers the question, "What was it like in the daily life of the frontier community?"
